The Worst Choice — Yet the Best Choice

Robert Reich has made my point.  Isn’t it great!!  Here we are in this crazy 21st century world where a hardcore leftist has to make the point of a hardcore, right-wing, bible thumpin’ person like me.  Go figure.

Mr. Reich is the nation’s 22nd Secretary of Labor and a professor at the University of California at Berkeley.   Among his great accomplishments, he has authored a video (DVD) entitled ‘Inequality for All‘.  As a Bernie Sanders lover, he is convinced that the only person to serve this country is the currently running socialist.  And to make his point he has the following video to argue his point — Ted Cruz is more dangerous than Donald Trump!!

Why Cruz is more dangerous than Trump

You have to love this guy!  Now if I can just get those who are convinced that Mr. Trump is the only answer to our current problems to reconsider Mr. Cruz as a better answer to America’s situation..?!

If this is the way the enemy perceives Cruz, then he’s the man for me!

Separation — A Democrat Fantasy

It is disgusting what is said today regarding ‘separation of church and state’.  Too often what is quoted is simply fantasy.  The following article was in the local newspaper and clarifies the separation clause.  That reference means that the ‘state’ shall not define churches as government sanctioned entities.

By Don Volz — Guest Column published in the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung, Friday, February 19, 2016

At the outset we need to get one thing straight. There is no “separation of church and state” language in the Constitution.  Neither that phrase, nor any semblance of it, exists anywhere in
the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or in the Federalist Papers that describe those documents.

The phrase “a wall of separation between church and state” first appeared in 1802, in President Thomas Jefferson’s response to a complaint received from a Baptist Association in Danbury, Connecticut. Historians agree that Jefferson’s letter was not an assertion that public discourse must be free from religious expression. In fact, Jefferson’s actual aim was quite the opposite —
he wanted public religious expression to be free from government restriction or coercion.

Jefferson strongly opposed the state-established churches that existed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and other states at the time, but he knew that as President he had to respect them. Still, he was deeply committed to religious liberty, as evidenced by the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom that he wrote more than a decade earlier.

The purpose of Jefferson’s response to the Danbury Baptists was to reassure them that the First Amendment created a “wall of separation” to keep the state from interfering with their religious practices, not to somehow imprison or constrain their free exercise of religion.

Modernist liberal justices, atheists, secular humanists and their allies in the Democrat party have ignored the meaning and context of Jefferson’s words. They’ve distorted Jefferson’s intent by injecting a mythical “wall of separation” into American jurisprudence without any Constitutional or legal foundation whatsoever. They preach the phrase as if it were a bedrock principle of American law when it is nothing of the sort. They do so with the impudence of Adam and Eve, elevating man-made laws above the truly foundational “Laws of Nature and Nature’s God,” as Jefferson so eloquently named the latter in the Declaration of Independence.

Sadly, many Christian Democrats and “Progressives” use the mythical “wall of separation between church and state” to avoid confronting the glaring conflict between their professed Christianity and their party politics. In their private lives they claim to be Christian. Yet in their public lives, they endorse and sponsor decidedly un-Christian behaviors like abortion, infanticide, homosexual acts, sexual promiscuity, adultery, and euthanasia — behaviors that clearly conflict with “the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God.” They claim to be Disciples of Christ, but in their public lives they are disciples of deceitful and untrustworthy leaders like Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.

In this respect, many Christian Democrats increasingly exemplify “a house divided against itself.” We know from Jesus’ words in Mark 3:25 that such houses cannot stand.

Like our Founding Fathers before us, true Christians place God’s word above man-made law and party politics in every aspect of their lives. True Christians do not hide behind a mythical “wall of separation between church and state.” True Christians share the Gospel message through both their words and their actions. True Christians heed Jesus’ words of warning in Luke 17:2 and do not defend, support, enable or excuse the sinful behavior of others.

2016 Potentially a ‘Scary Year’ for the West

Once again intelligence tells us that a very bad ‘storm‘ is coming our way.  There are so many indicators of disaster in our near future that it should, if nothing else, motivate us to prepare.  The following are reports on ISIS and their plans — which are no simple threat.

ISIS to Attempt Attacks on America

And for a longer term outlook, please reading the 20 year plan for America.

Why I Won’t Vote for Trump

I was approached by someone recently and told, “All politicians are liars.  You don’t know which one to believe.”  Which is difficult to argue.  But I would submit is that a person’s history (what they have done) says a lot more than what they say.

The following is a YouTube ‘audio’ of one of Glenn Beck’s radio shows.  Although Trump tells one story, his past tells another.  This audio covers a great deal of his history and exposes what his real character was then and now.  If he kills all trust in him in the past, why should we trust him today!!?

Consider the above when it comes time to vote.

The Threat Still Exists

It’s been awhile since the San Bernardino incident involving the two jihadists.  And like 911, I assume that America is slowing going back to sleep..?  However, the threat has not subsided, it has grown!

The following article discusses a newly discovered book written for those wishing to strike ‘western’ cities and people.  It describes how to disguise yourself so that you can not be discovered easily.  When I first read it, I thought I’d verify the veracity of the story.  So I Googled ‘Safety and Security Guidelines for Lone Wolf’.  (Try it.)  I was struck by the number of hits I received and decided the Israelis are probably a good source (below).  The following is the original article that caught my attention.

ISIS Playbook – Look Like Western Christians

Top 6 ISIS Tips for Lone Wolf Terrorists

Both are well worth reading.  Maybe we should consider this sort of information when thinking about admitting ‘Christians’ in the country?  But who knows..?

Religion in the U.S. and Statistics

I’ve heard so many conversations recently regarding Christians in the U.S. lately.  Consequently I thought it would be helpful to post some statistics regarding Christians.  Most in this post was obtained from Pew Research.

If you review the numerous charts available you should be able to glean out of them several bits of information.  Such as:  how people’s belief systems affect their judgement regarding right and wrong;  what age groups are more or less religious;  political affiliations;  philosophical leanings based on frequency of church attendance, etc.

Topics & Questions Regarding Religion in America

(Scroll down on the page to particularly view the ‘Topics & Questions’ information.)

I also added the following article regarding the current direction of the country with regard to religious activity in the U.S.

Christians Decline Sharply as Share of Population; Unaffiliated and Other Faiths Continue to Grow

Based on the above information, I would propose that the United States is moving away from being a Judaeo-Christian society and becoming more secular.  Which, should alter their value system and decision making process.

Vetting Refugees — Do We Trust the Feds?

You are hearing from the Whitehouse that there’s no reason to stop refugees from coming into this country.  Our government wants us to believe that they are more than capable of doing backgrounds (vetting) on those running from oppression.

Well, maybe not.  You probably won’t see this news anywhere else.  But this is probably one of the most important bits of news you’ll see regarding the current flood of immigration into this country.

First, the following article tells of how “73 people” were hired by the TSA who are on our terrorist watch list.  Yes, it is true.  The evidence is listed below.  But of import, one must ask that if we can’t even keep terrorists out of the TSA when hiring 100’s taking our time, how do we vet 1000’s of people flooding into this country from backward, third-world countries with no valid records to vet in short order..?

DHS Investigation reveals potential terrorists working for the TSA

But there’s more!  The following is the actual report from the DHS showing how egregious this ‘error’ is and can potentially impact Americans.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General Report on Security Failure — June 4th

Now put that with the BS you are being told regarding the number of ‘potential’ terrorists in the Muslim community.  You are also being told that maybe 1-2% of Muslims are ‘potential’ terrorists.  But from the internal (FBI/CIA) experts I have heard from, that number is more like 13%! Also of import, it is important to know that according to studies previously done, that Muslims are ‘converted’ to terrorism faster once they come into this country!  And, if you do the math, we have 2.5M Muslims here already!  So if only 10% were potentially terrorists, that would mean we now have 250,000 of them.?!

Pew Research statistics draws a somewhat different perspective also.

Statistics from Pew Research:

Views about government aid to the poor among Muslims — 63% does more good than harm

Views about size of government among Muslims — 73% bigger government and more services

Party affiliation among Muslims — 62% democrat

Interpreting scripture among Muslims — 42% Quran should be taken literally (all of it); 31% some

Importance of religion among Muslims — 64% very important

Belief in absolute standards for right and wrong among Muslims — 76% depends on the situation

[Put these last three statistics together and you should conclude that:  the Quran is the word of God, it is very important, and should be used depending on the situation.]

Age distribution among Muslims
Survey     18-29     30-49     50-64     65+     Sample
Year                    Size
2014     44%     37%     13%     5%     234
2007     33%     46%     17%     3%     114

Beyond Paris

If you think the Paris story is scary, just imagine what will happen here in the U.S.  … eventually.  With the thousands of ‘gun free zones’ (i.e., Christian churches) here in America, just imagine what killers could accomplish right here at home.

Now consider that your president is currently planning on 10,000 Syrian ‘refugees’ moving right here in the U.S.  — Soon!  But, his plan for his last year or rein is 100,000 more potential terrorists right here!  Taking the most conservative estimate reasonable — 1% — think of how many stone cold killers you are considering moving to this country!?!  That would be 1000 killers willing to die in order to kill YOU.  (However a more realist estimate is 13% which is what the experts are saying.  Which implies a mere 13,000 terrorists ‘added’ to America in addition to those already here!)  Although you have done nothing to do ill will to them, they still HATE you and want you dead.

It’s hard for a peaceful American public to accept such insane thinking.  It’s hard to rationalize.  But it is real.

In the interim those who are charged with protecting us are telling the public, “No problem here.  Nothing to see.  We’ve got it all covered.  We’re trained and ready for any threat.”  Yet, when you speak to the troops at the lower ranks, they’re still speaking the paid commercial programming — “Islam is a religion of peace like all others including Christians.  We treat everyone the same.”  Upper management won’t accept expert training from sources that aren’t vetted through their PR (PC) organization.

The following is an excerpt from an alert I’ve received from retired Col. Jeffrey F. Addicott (and terrorism expert) — Law professor at St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas.

“What happened in Paris and is sweeping across much of Western Europe will eventually come to American shores,” Mr. Maginnis said. “We must get serious before it is too late. This terror must be dealt with and stopped before it grows and it will.”

In the long business of terrorism, ISIL has put in place a first-ever, far-reaching social media operations to spew propaganda and recruit Americans and other Westerners to Syria. Its tweets and other messaging urge U.S. Muslims to start killing people. And, with widely available off-the-shelf encryption apps developed in Silicon Valley, ISIL sheiks can conduct secure communications that even the National Security Agency cannot penetrate.

“ISIL has used that ubiquitous social media to break the model and push into the United States onto the mobile devices of troubled souls throughout our country in all 50 states a twin message. Come or kill,” FBI Director James Comey told Congress. He said the bureau is actively investigating ISIL members in all 50 states.

“Come or kill” means come to Syria or stay in the States and murder people.

Mr. Comey, at a House Homeland Security hearing last month, talked of a “surge” in terror investigations that forced him to move agents off criminal cases onto national security.

“Following somebody 24/7 without them knowing you’re there is really hard,” he said.

“Radical Islamists are recruiting online across borders and at broadband speed,” Rep. Michael McCaul, Texas Republican and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said last month. “And the impact is being felt worldwide. … The pace of terror plotting is unprecedented, unrivaled even by al Qaeda at its peak.”

And, another ‘flash’ just came across my desk from World Net Daily speaking of our Texas governor’s view on this subject.  The following is a snippet from a letter sent to Obama on the subject.

“Governor Greg Abbott today sent a letter to President Barack Obama informing him that the State of Texas will not accept any refugees from Syria in the wake of the deadly terrorist attack in Paris. Furthermore, Governor Abbott implored President Obama to halt his plans to accept more Syrian refugees in the United States entirely, as the federal government does not have the background information necessary to effectively conduct proper security checks on Syrian nationals.

“Given the tragic attacks in Paris and the threats we have already seen, Texas cannot participate in any program that will result in Syrian refugees – any one of whom could be connected to terrorism – being resettled in Texas,” Governor Abbott said in the letter. “Effective today, I am directing the Texas Health & Human Services Commission’s Refugee Resettlement Program to not participate in the resettlement of any Syrian refugees in the State of Texas. And I urge you, as President, to halt your plans to allow Syrians to be resettled anywhere in the United States.”

“Neither you nor any federal official can guarantee that Syrian refugees will not be part of any terroristic activity. As such, opening our door to them irresponsibly exposes our fellow Americans to unacceptable peril.”

Sounds a bit contradicting doesn’t it..?!  But don’t worry, I’m just paranoid…
