Crime in the larger urban cities (e.g., New York, L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, etc.) is growing at an abnormally rapid rate.  Why?  Because these larger ‘sanctuary cities’ are not trying to capture criminals, they are protecting them!  California are actually creating new laws to outlaw criminal activity.  New York made the news recently that they would not hold dangerous criminals on bond.  Why?  It isn’t fare to the criminal?!!

So why do these larger cities function this way?  Answer, because they are typically run by Leftist leadership.  Understanding that leftist today means socialist.  And socialist (aka-progressive) is now functionally a synonym for Marxist/communist.  Sounds a bit extreme?  Let’s look at what’s in the queue for our country regarding what they now call immigration.

Immigration used to mean that someone applied for citizenship, went through a defined process which along the way the person learned English, our history, constitution, and social norms.  Today immigration means that it’s OK to sneak into America any way you can, avoid police, do whatever you want without recourse, and then cry foul if someone wants to hold you accountable.

Ah, “But wait, there’s more!”  Now the democrats (aka – socialists) want to completely destroy our immigration process — Enter House Bill: 5383.  (The previous link displays the actual text of the bill on a ‘.gov’ website.)

You haven’t seen anything yet trying to destroy our country.  If this bill were to pass the three branches of government, America would be toast rapidly!  Most citizens would be in fear for their safety every day if not dead due to increased criminal activity.  As if it isn’t bad enough with all of the current deaths perpetrated by illegals.

Again, this sounds extreme doesn’t it?

This bill is over 4400 words long which reduces the number of criminal illegals being deported and, gives those who have been deported the right to petition the U.S., and if their case is found to have merit, they can be transported back to the U.S. at taxpayer’s expense!  If that isn’t enough, it would totally destroy our safety organizations — ICE, Border patrol, and Homeland Security, making them ineffective at their jobs at a minimum.

I’ve been writing on the subject of socialists attempting to convert America into a soviet state for over six years.  Every year we continue to get closer to the progressive’s goal line.  (We have to be inside the ten yard line?!)  All it would take at this point to ‘flip’ the country is for the socialists (democrats) to get control of congress and the Whitehouse.  At that point, it would be game over.  Say goodbye to all of your rights as documented by our founders.

And who would we have to blame?  The voters of this country.  Scary, huh?

The socialists in America have been beating their anti-Christian drum making a lot of noise over recent years.  Americans have had a choice of religions including atheism since our country’s founding — via the 1st amendment.  So why all of the anti-religious flurry today?  Because today’s code-word for communism is socialism, and that means no freedom of religion.

Religion is typically not allowed in a communist state.  Removal of religion is just another step toward the totalitarian rule of the socialists over you and I — the end of America as we know it.  Sounds extreme?   Well, ask the Chinese what they think.

For decades China has been imprisoning Falun Gong religious members in ‘re-education camps’.  As hard as it is to believe, they actually use these prisoners for body part replacements.  (Anyone can get a kidney replacement in two weeks if you have the money.)  Also, in recent years they started arresting Muslim Chinese (Uyghurs).  Now, in an effort to not be discriminatory, they want all Christians incarcerated.

What is the threat that motivates such hateful behavior in the communist party?  Fear.  In a communist (totalitarian) system, there can be no religion.  To allow religion is to allow independent thought.  To have independent thought is to allow freedom.  And freedom brings on revolution against the ruling class — the communist party members – aka, the elite.

Enter the subject of Hong Kong.  Hong Kong is a coastal city on the south China sea coast.  They are one of the more successful cities in China and enjoy some freedom that other Chinese don’t.  Their concern currently is the communist party’s attempt to get extradition authority for ‘criminals’.  In the party’s parlance, that means religious people, any religious people.  This is why the Hong Kong people are rioting.

Hong Kong’s extradition bill crisis began in February 2019 with the government’s proposal of the Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill 2019. The proposed law would allow the transfer of fugitives to jurisdictions with which Hong Kong lacks an extradition deal, including mainland China, Taiwan and Macau. Opponents of the bill expressed concerns about the possibility of politically motivated persecution and unfair trials on the mainland. Millions of people have taken to the streets to protest against the bill, which was suspended by Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor on June 15, 2019.

So who cares what’s going on it China?  You should!  The above situation is exactly where the socialists are wanting to take us right here in America. Sounds extreme? Consider this: almost 50% of millennials in America are in favor of socialism over capitalism; over 100 self-avowed socialists hold seats in the House of Representatives; the Left (socialists) are trying to get one of their socialists in the Whitehouse as president. If they manage to accomplish that task along with congress, we here in America will be in deep do-do.

If you’re wondering what you can do to make a difference, consider two actions you can take:  1) Vote: vote intelligently — learn what’s really going on, not what some propagandist tells you on CNN;  2) Educate: try to educate those with whom you associate — e.g., family, co-workers, associates.

We are on schedule with a slight disruption (Trump) for the destruction of this country and have been for 100 years, right here in America.  If you won’t take action, who do you expect to?  Socialists in your ‘representative’ House?

There are hundreds of thousands of Americans that don’t get it.  They are still thinking that their democrat party is the same it was decades ago.  (This thinking being a great example of the ‘normalcy bias’.)

Part of being a socialist state is being a society devoid of any deity — God does not exist and supernatural influenced laws are to be ignored.  There are numerous examples of this thinking today — one being China.  Regardless of what some may say, China is a communist state.  Consequently there are thousands of Chinese people in prison for merely having attended a church, other ritual, or having been caught praying.

And now we are seeing this same trend right here in America — the land of the ‘free’.  A very large government does not want outside thinking to influence the behavior of their people.  Hence, religion must not exist, else that government may lose power.

The democrat party has changed a lot in recent years.  This is predominantly a result of socialists entering congress and influencing the liberals in their party.  Through this process over decades, the situation has changed.  Today the liberals in that party are now afraid to not go along with the socialist view.  Through this process they have managed to infiltrate the party by over 100 socialist leaning congressmen — as many as 10 during the 2018 election.  Scary indeed considering those liberals too interested in remaining in office are now going along with ‘the plan’.

This website article should be enough to scare any American who reads it.  If it doesn’t, those citizens are part of the problem, not the solution.

One has to wonder when or if the American public will wake up?  Two facts scare the hell out of me — almost 50% of millennials want socialism in this country; less than 30% can define it; and that generation of people (19-39) are expected to become larger than the baby-boomers in the near future.  (Boomers are dying off at a rate of 10,000/day!)  This does not bode well for the future of America.

In our world of politics today, we use several terms to define people or groups.  Far too often those labels are misused with an end objective in mind — to confuse, obfuscate, or totally misdirect a person or persons’ thinking.

Liberals and conservatives have always existed and they both have a purpose in society.  Typically, one set of people (liberals) want to effect change, whereas the other type (conservatives) want more of a status quo.  Both have a purpose — to maintain a balance of change or progress with that of slow and deliberate decision making leading to a safer environment with slow and deliberate change.

If this balance is not maintained, we either have chaos with too much change too fast, or stagnation and a lack of progress — both can be disastrous.  With both parties in balance, we have forward movement of a society with rationale and analysis leading to better decisions.  My guess is this is one of the reasons why our founders created such unique documents — the Bill of Rights and our Constitution.  Although they argued incessantly, it was done predominantly in a professional manner with the end result of quality decisions — as evidenced by our founding documents.

More often than not, today the Democratic party sees itself as the liberal party and conversely the Republican party sees itself as the conservative party.  Our congress was designed this way to have differing opinions to invoke the same logic as stated, to strike a balance in our actions for the maximum end for all.

Today we also refer to these same people as the Left (democrats) or the Right (republicans).  Many people argue that the Left keeps marching further left.  However, that may not be the case.  Those who seek more radical approaches may not be the stereotypical liberal, but more a radical.  And many of those radicals are socialists who have an entirely new perspective for America’s future — foreign to both the traditional Left and Right.

It is for this reason, that ‘we the people’, are so far apart in our perspectives.  We use the words liberal, Left, and democrat interchangeably.  Liberal has a classical definition which is fading away insidiously.  The extremes are becoming the norm, while society is being torn apart.  We’re all praying for a king (president) to save us.  (1 Samuel 12:19 (NIV) — “Pray to the Lord your God for your servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king.”

America was originated by Pilgrims (religious people) from Europe escaping religious persecution who established the foundation of our Judeo-Christian society.  Our founders subsequently created our unique documents mentioned above that protect our rights.  The vast majority of the governmental laws used today were created using those same principles.  Freedom of speech isn’t an empty phrase with little or no value, it is defined in our constitution as a “God given right”.  That term means, that no one can take that (those) rights away from you.  The only way to do so in America is to destroy our constitution.

That is exactly what the Left (socialists) are trying to do.  It is merely one of the steps toward ‘fundamentally transforming’ our country into a socialist state.  Over the last 70 years they have done a fine job toward that end.  It is up to us to stop them.

When you speak to those who don’t particularly share your perspective, remember that we are all different and here for different purposes.  Speak with kindness and understanding while listening as much as you can while trying to keep the conversation honest and direct.  The more we listen, the more we educate each other.  To that end, we also make better decisions.

If we argue, call names, or worse, we get nowhere except more chaos.  We must not fall into the same mold as those making the news every day through violence, lying, and deceit.  It is up to us to save this country, not some bureaucrat making a lot of money to sell you and I out.  If everyone in congress was doing what was right for all Americans, we would be where we are today.  At the very least, the character of congress — for the most part — has been lost to self-aggrandizement and riches.  We must hold their feet to the fire with our votes while trying to educate the lost in our society.

Watching TV and the news gets you ‘information’, the accuracy of which may be questionable, or just more propaganda.  We must sift through the garbage to learn the truth.  Otherwise we’re no better than the Russians in the early 20th century.  And look what that got them — Lenin followed by Stalin.  It took millions of them to die before the light came on.  Hopefully we won’t follow their example..?
